The Principal Budget and Performance Analyst is a vital piece of the Community Services Department’s leadership team overseeing program management of the department budget, data system initiatives, performance management, and long-term planning efforts to ensure they align with organizational goals. The program management includes short and long term department budget administration, analysis and planning, operational studies, long term strategic planning, department accreditation, administration of the Parks & Recreation Advisory Committee, and other projects as assigned. 

The position plans, develops, supervises, manages, and evaluates the operations of these priorities and personnel for the division. The position requires a significant amount of engagement and coordination with various internal, cross-departmental stakeholders, public stakeholders, external partners, and Town Council. The position provides professional and technical assistance to the Director, Deputy Director, and the Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee.
