Under general direction of the Recreation Manager or Recreation Supervisor III, the Recreation Supervisor I – Aquatics performs professional work in the development and direction of a variety of aquatic activities designed to meet the needs and interests of the community. Oversees aquatic staff of Pool Managers, Swim Instructors, Lifeguards, Senior Lifeguards, and Pool Cashiers, during instruction and public swim hours.
Recreation Supervisor II is distinguished from Recreation Supervisor I by a greater degree of authority, responsibility and experience. Recreation Supervisor II positions exercise a broader range of authority over programs and a higher level of management and budgeting responsibility.
