Under general supervision, the Senior Recreation Coordinator plans, organizes, promotes, and coordinates a variety of District recreation programs, community services, special intertest classes and special events; Provides daily oversight to program activities, evaluates program effectiveness and develops change recommendations; supervises, guides and evaluates the work of seasonal and part-time staff and class instructors; develops and distributes various marketing materials to promote assigned programs, events and activities; performs related duties as assigned. 

The Senior Recreation Coordinator is a full-time lead or specialist level classification.
