Park Maintenance Worker II - Facilities

Position Summary:

Under direction of assigned supervisory staff, performs a variety of advanced level skilled and specialized work in the maintenance and operation of District facilities; may lead, oversee, and assist in the direction, supervision, and work of maintenance activities; maintains and operates a variety of hand and power tools and equipment; and performs a variety of technical tasks relative to assigned areas of responsibility.

Distinguishing Characteristics:

The ideal candidate is a well-rounded professional with experience in facility maintenance including carpentry, electrical, painting, and plumbing. Essential qualities include flexibility, maintaining effective internal and external communication and customer service, and the ability to work productively as part of a team to serve the community.
