Park Maintenance Worker II - Irrigation

Position Summary:

Under direction of assigned supervisory staff, performs a variety of advanced level skilled and specialized work in the maintenance and operation of District parks and facilities; may lead, oversee, and assist in the direction, supervision, and work of park maintenance activities; maintains and operates a variety of hand and power tools and equipment; and performs a variety of technical tasks relative to assigned areas of responsibility.

Distinguishing Characteristics:

The ideal candidate is a well-rounded professional with advanced experience in the installation, inspection, modification, maintenance, and repair of park irrigation systems along with the ability to lead others in a variety of skilled and semi-skilled work.  Essential qualities include flexibility, maintaining effective internal and external communication and customer service, and the ability to work productively as part of a team to serve the community.
